Spring and Summer 2011

WOW! time sure fly's!!
Its suddenly spring, suddenly summer...so many things to view, internalize, exhort throughout the new seasons....everything and everywhere is life and magical living! I have diverted somewhat over the last several months, from mainly nature an landscape photography, to more mixes with urban and people images. Also, I have put away the painted canvases (for now) in order to re-fresh and renew my creativity, my outlook. The following images are really a colourful reminder of where I have been and my view to the present, plus a bit towards the future. I am really exploring possibilities!

Winter 2010 -2011

Been so very busy over the last few months that I really haven't had time to post new photos or art. The following images are part of recent travel, as well as some showing local forested areas in winter across the landscape near towns and rural areas of Eastern Canada.

Summer 2010

Well, over the summer months I had been quite busy working on new pieces of art, plus travelling about local forestry and urban areas capturing special moments in time. Here is a glimpse of my busy time in the sun. Enjoy.

Spring 2010

Spring finally came! Flowers, Plants and the entire landscape re-birthed, as nature has always done for millions of years. I took a series of close-ups for a new portfolio which I present a few here. Enjoy!

Winter 2010

Winter 2010 wasn't as bad as past years, we received snow late December 2009, and came and went sparingly over the next two and half months. Here I present a collection of images from a trip I took through Southwest Ontario in late February 2010. Yes, it was a major snow storm, which blasted for two days straight. But, as you can see the landscape was wonderful to view. Enjoy!

Classic Screen Idols

I spent some time going my catalog of favourite old movies and the stars who lit up the stage and screens, influencing our lives for generations. I am a huge fan of early Hollywood flix, and apart from a few modern pictures, I pretty much spend any extended tv time enjoying the classics. I did a couple of mini series as a dedication to some of the unforgettable players, entitled "rebels of the classic screen" and "goddess of the classic screen".

Continuing to explore personal journeys humans trek through life, and the thought processes which governs, or those which are incidental to decisions made, or necessary for pursuit of goals and accomplishments...

New Cards Series

A while back, I decided to explore the the use of ancient India's Mandala (Circle) philosophy, as a way of adding some lighter, fun stuff to my art projects. I created samples, small and large, for greeting card applications and also for canvas. I love the uniqueness of each piece, and look forward to creating more art along this concept in the months ahead.

Construct Series

The Construct Series is all about the celebration of Architecture, Construction and Design. I am playing around with forms and colours and letting the process conceive the final shapes, which represents some sort of visual ideal... Construct No.220
